Back Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a Research Fellowship you must pass the following eligibility requirements:

1. You have completed a degree at a University, or equivalent institution, within or outside the United Kingdom.

2. You are currently close to finishing a doctoral thesis.

   OR

   Your doctoral thesis was submitted on or after 1st October 2022.

3. If your doctoral thesis was submitted before 1st October 2022, but you feel you have strong mitigating circumstances for not meeting this eligibility requirement, please complete the application form and the system will provide you with the facility to provide your explanation on the Eligibility Details page.
